Why send appointment reminders on WhatsApp?

Reminding people by hand works, but it is one more daily task, and it gets skipped on the busiest days. On Pro and Teams, an automatic WhatsApp reminder goes out with the booking details, on the app your client opens every day.
Which plan includes WhatsApp reminders?
WhatsApp reminders come with Pro, at €9.90 a month or €99.00 a year, and with Teams, at €14.90 a month for up to 20 team members. The Free plan does not include WhatsApp.
If you work alone, Pro is usually enough; if several people keep their own calendars, choose Teams. Both start with a free trial: 15 days on monthly billing or 30 days on annual billing. Cancel anytime.
Frequently asked questions
Do clients need a special app to receive reminders?
No. Email reminders arrive in the client's normal inbox. WhatsApp notifications, on the Pro and Teams plans, arrive in the WhatsApp app the client already uses. There is no SkedEz app for clients to install. When they book, they sign in or create a client account with their email, and for WhatsApp they add a mobile number with WhatsApp.
Will reminders stop all no-shows?
No tool can stop every missed appointment. Reminders help clients remember and give them a prompt to tell you if they cannot come, which can help reduce forgotten appointments and turn some no-shows into early cancellations. Combining reminders with an easy way to cancel and a look at your no-show figures in the dashboard usually works better than reminders alone.
Which plan includes WhatsApp notifications?
WhatsApp notifications are included on the Pro and Teams plans, while email reminders are part of every plan, including Free. Pro costs €9.90 per month or €99.00 per year, and Teams costs €14.90 per month for businesses with several team members. Depending on your country, prices may be shown in another currency on the pricing table.
Can clients reply to the WhatsApp notification to chat with me?
The WhatsApp notification is an automatic message about the appointment, not a two-way chat inside SkedEz. SkedEz does not manage your WhatsApp conversations. If clients want to ask something or change a booking, they can contact you through your usual channels, and you can then reschedule or cancel the appointment in your SkedEz calendar.
