Frequently asked questions
Can clients see the private notes I write about them?
No. Private notes are meant for you and your team inside SkedEz. They are not shown on your public booking page or included in the emails clients receive. Even so, it is good practice to write notes in a neutral, factual way and to store only what helps you deliver the service, as if the client might ask to see them.
Do I need to enter clients manually?
Not usually. When a client books through your booking page or website embed, their details are saved with the appointment and their history starts automatically. You can also add appointments yourself for clients who call or visit, and those appointments are linked to the client in the same way, so the history stays complete whichever way they booked.
Can I use SkedEz to keep clinical or medical notes?
SkedEz is a scheduling and client management tool, not a clinical records system. Health professionals should keep clinical documentation in software built for that purpose and use SkedEz for appointments, contact details and short scheduling notes. Health data is especially sensitive, so if you are unsure what you may store and where, ask a qualified data protection adviser.
